Classic Stories SeriesThis book had long been recommended to me, and I am glad that I searched diligently to find it to read to my 10 year old grandson. The Truth in this story is so pure….. It’s about a young boy whose mother has died, his father is not present, and so he lives with his grandfather out on a lighthouse. As in our own lives, many things happen that we just don’t understand….but wait! ….God is not finished. I’ve always loved the hymns, but since reading “Saved at Sea,” I now rock my baby grandson to sleep every afternoon singing “The Solid Rock.” Read the book to find out why.
